Idea when you travel: Internet on your smartphone / iPAd is very easy; you buy a prepaid card on Bali, costs approx. 10, - for 1 month of unlimited internet use with a small telephone credit on it. So bring an extra phone.
Location
Located just 250 meters from the sea with a dark lava beach, here is a truly unspoiled part of Bali with beautiful views of the bays with palm trees and you can see the fishermen with their boats coming in and out of the water. Many beautiful colorful ceremonies are also held here.
The beautiful Whitesand beach (Pasir Putih) see the photos is about 10 minutes away by moped / car, here you get a lounger if you order a delicious lunch at one of the small warungs.
Candidasa with its shops and restaurants is about 15 minutes drive. It is an hour's drive to lovely Ubud.
The distance to the airport is about 60 kilometers, the journey takes about 1 ½ hours.
In the area
In the immediate vicinity you will find the historic village of Tenganan (known for its double Ikat). Candidasa with its shops and good restaurants. Amlapura the capital with the lively weekly market, the extensive Hardy's supermarket and the royal palace. Also close by: Lempuyang temple, Ujung and the Tirtaganga Water Palace.
There are many snorkeling and diving opportunities in this area.
In the further area you will find the diving paradise Amed (45 min. Drive), the Besakih temple, the Mount Agung, Mount Batur, Padang Bai (30 min. Drive) with the Blue Lagoon and where the ferries go to Lombok and the Gilli's . And for the rest beautiful nature, the rice fields, palm trees, rivers, mountains, ceremonies and tranquility.
